John S. Watson School of Public Service and Continuing Studies

The John S. Watson School of Public Service and Continuing Studies currently offers two graduate programs focusing on public service that are designed for working adults interested in professional and personal growth.

The Master of Public Service Leadership degree program is designed to develop the next generation of leaders for nonprofit organizations, faith-based and community-based organizations and local, state and federal government. The program gives students an applied experience that provides an opportunity to learn and grow and to apply what they learn to their actual work environments.

The School also offers seven areas of study focusing on public service professions that are part of the Master of Science in Management degree program.

In addition, the School also offers a wide range of noncredit courses and professional certificates and is developing new degree programs and advanced certificate programs that cover domestic and international issues.

The John S. Watson Institute for Public Policy is dedicated to deepening the analysis around critical public policy challenges and broadening the range of policy ideas, perspectives and options for New Jersey policy makers and stakeholders across sectors.
