College VP Elected to Princeton Chamber Board

The Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce is committed to advancing the general welfare and prosperity of the greater Princeton area. Thurber’s portfolio as vice president at Thomas Edison State College includes responsibility for the College’s work in the areas of advancement and public affairs. He also serves as executive vice president of the Board of Directors for the Thomas Edison State College Foundation, Inc.

Active in civic affairs, Thurber was recently re-elected as vice chairman of the Mercer County Improvement Authority and is a past president of the Board of Directors of the Trenton Downtown Association. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Capital Health; a member of the board and former chairman of the American Cancer Society, Mercer unit; a member of the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Princeton Foundation; and an elder of Nassau Presbyterian Church. Thurber is a summa cum laude graduate of Rutgers Law School in Newark, N.J.
