Globis Appointed Director of Alumni Affairs at Thomas Edison State College

Thomas Edison State College has appointed Roxanne L. Globis as director of Alumni Affairs
TRENTON, N.J. (July 25, 2006) ——Thomas Edison State College has appointed Roxanne L. Globis, of Belle Mead, N.J., as director of Alumni Affairs.

Globis is responsible for the planning and implementation of the overall alumni program. She also serves as the liaison between the College and the Thomas Edison State College alumni.

In making the announcement, John P. Thurber, vice president for Public Affairs at Thomas Edison State College, said, “Roxanne Globis has had a very successful career in customer service, sales and marketing in the private sector. We are very fortunate that she has joined our staff to build relationships with and enhance the College’s outreach to its alumni.”

Prior to joining the College, Globis was a senior branch manager and assistant vice president with Commerce Bank in Princeton, N.J., where she was responsible for the overall operations including business development, customer service and promotion of Commerce Bank through community activities and involvement. Globis has attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Mass., and at Villanova University in Villanova, Pa. She is a board member of the YWCA Princeton, serving on the finance committee, and is a member of the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce.
