Earning Credits for Military Training

Thomas Edison State College enables service members to earn maximum credit for military training and education.  Depending on your military training, Thomas Edison State College can apply college credit to your degree program.

 


  • For service members and veterans of the U.S. Army, we’ll need a Joint Service Transcript (JST).
     
  • For service members and veterans of the U.S. Navy & Marine Corps, we’ll need a we’ll need a Joint Service Transcript (JST).
     
  • For service members and veterans of the U.S. Air Force, we'll need a transcript from the Community College of the Air Force.
     
  • For service members and veterans of the U.S. Coast Guard, we'll need a transcript from the U.S. Coast Guard Institute.
     
  • For service members who left the military before 1986, the college can apply credits from a notarized DD 214 form.
