Coast Guard Degree Pathways Program (CGDPP)

Thomas Edison State College is a participant in the Coast Guard Degree Pathways Program (CGDPP) which meets the educational needs of Coast Guard members who want to earn a college degree during their service with the Coast Guard. The College is one of only 7 institutions partnering with the Coast Guard to provide greater access to higher education and offers rating-related associate and bachelor's degree programs that maximize Coast Guard training to fulfill degree requirements.

The program builds on the existing Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges-Coast Guard (SOCCOAST) foundation, which supports both the Coast Guard members mobile lifestyle and educational goals.
