Thomas Edison State College has developed programs with each branch of the U.S. military and has been providing specialized educational opportunities for members of the United States military for more than three decades. The advantages that Thomas Edison State College offers to service members include:

  • Focuses on degree completion, not just course completion
  • No on-campus residency requirement
  • Personalized degree plans
  • Maximum credit for military training and prior college-level knowledge
  • New terms begin each month
  • No classroom attendance is required, so programs fit around your schedule
  • Full range of student services
  • You are enrolled at the time of application
  • Your SOC Agreement is filed by the time six credits are completed at the College
  • In addition to programs for active duty service members and veterans, the College is a participant in the GoArmyEd and Navy College programs.
