Welcome to Academic Advising at Thomas Edison State College!
Academic advising is an important process that helps students take charge of their academic careers. Our advisors assist students with most aspects of their Thomas Edison State College experience, including reviewing their academic evaluation, selecting courses and programs of study, interpreting College policies and preparing for graduation. We are dedicated to assisting our students in the academic program planning process and empowering them to make informed academic decisions.
The information and resources on this page provide students with information about their advisors and how to make an advising appointment. I encourage all students to visit this page periodically, as we plan to add additional resources for students in the coming months.
I recommend that all enrolled students read our Advisement and Degree Planning Handbook for Undergraduate Students (currently unavailable), which reviews many of the services performed by Academic Advising, such as degree or program planning, understanding an academic evaluation and general education requirements for our undergraduate degree programs.
On behalf of our entire Academic Advising team, I wish you success in your academic endeavors.
