NUR-340 Nursing Informatics
Nursing Informatics is designed to assess the student’s ability to select appropriate software for nursing needs and use literature from nursing informatics and related fields of computer science and information science. The student will explore professional use of computer software, World Wide Web, information systems, computerized decision support, data standards and nursing languages. The analysis of ethical and legal issues associated with computer systems and computerized patient records will also be included.
