CHE-112 General Chemistry II
The second of a two-semester general chemistry sequence. Topics include intermolecular forces, and liquids and solids; physical properties of solutions; chemical kinetics; chemical equilibrium; acids and bases; chemistry in the atmosphere; entropy, free energy and equilibrium; electrochemistry; metallurgy and the chemistry of metals; transition metal chemistry and coordination compounds; organic chemistry; and synthetic and natural organic polymers.
This course does not meet the general chemistry with lab requirement for the Bachelor of Arts degree in biology.
