The Bachelor of Arts in degree in Computer Science at Thomas Edison State College has been ranked as one of the top three best buys in the country for online regionally accredited undergraduate computer sciences degrees, according to a national survey conducted by GetEducated.com.
According to the survey, which examined publicly posted tuition and fee rates at 43 regionally accredited universities that offer 88 online information technology and computer degree programs, Thomas Edison State College ranks third in the nation in terms of quality and affordability.
“Students can pay as little as $21,000 or as much as $86,000 for an online IT bachelor’s degree,” says Vicky Phillips, founder of GetEducated.com, the only consumer group to publish online college affordability rankings. “Clearly it pays for non-traditional students to get educated about Thomas Edison State College’s online degree programs before they enroll.”
The average cost of earning an online undergraduate business degree at a regionally accredited institution is approximately $46,758, according to the survey. The survey calculates the average cost of earning an online undergraduate business degree at Thomas Edison State College at approximately $22,586 for New Jersey residents and $33,280 for non-New Jersey residents – both well below the national average for regionally accredited baccalaureate programs.
Depending on several factors, including the number of credits a student transfers into a program and the type of tuition plan, the cost of earning a degree at Thomas Edison State College may be even lower.
