Certification InstituteThe Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) exams are created using the PHR and SPHR Body of Knowledge, which outlines the responsibilities of and knowledge needed by today’s HR professional. The PHR and SPHR Body of Knowledge is created by HR subject matter experts through a rigorous practice analysis study and validated by HR professionals working in the field through an extensive survey instrument. It is updated periodically to ensure it is consistent with current practices in the HR field.
