The School of Nursing provides students with innovative degree programs that meet the educational and career needs of licensed registered nurses who want an alternative to campus-based instruction. The flexible, self-paced programs serve the educational needs of RNs, society’s healthcare needs, and the nursing profession’s need for an increased pool of competent nurse educators. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program offered by the School of Nursing is
accredited by the
National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC). The School of Nursing has applied to the
Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education for accreditation of its RN to BSN/MSN degree program. The onsite evaluation is scheduled for Nov. 5-7, 2008 and students and interested parties will be invited to attend the visit. An accreditation decision will be made in the spring of 2009.
