The College Accelerated Program (CAP) is an educational path that offers financial services industry students the ability to achieve degree status through Thomas Edison State College and the American Council on Education (ACE) from wherever they live or work.
As a CFT student, you may:
What are the benefits?
- Degree requirements are easily identified eliminating the 'guess work.'
- Easy-to-follow options on how to complete remaining degree requirements
- If you have already taken college courses previously, you may have already met some of the CAP requirements!
Degree and enrollment information:
You may integrate your banking studies with previous college work and other college-level knowledge to earn college credits toward your associate and bachelor's degree. Because you have already earned your Center for Financial Training certificate and/or diploma or are currently working toward one -- even if you are just beginning your banking studies -- you are an excellent candidate for the CAP Program!
Get started as a CAP student!:
- Become an active Center for Financial Training student, or continue your CFT studies following the suggested courses for a certificate and/or diploma
- After completing a minimum of five Center for Financial Training courses, become a registered student of Thomas Edison State College by applying and enrolling in one of the above listed degree programs.
- Submit any and all college transcripts to the Center for Financial Training for evaluation and transfer credit toward a certificate and/or diploma (the Center for Financial Training works in cooperation with the ACE Registry where your credits are 'banked').
