Professional Certificates and Customized Training

Professional Certificates:  

Thomas Edison State College's online professional certificates are available to individuals or groups of military personnel, and enable military students to develop advanced skill sets in specific professional development areas. Many professional certificates offer reduced fees for military personnel and their families and most are approved by the Veterans' Administration. 

Each professional certificate is designed by a team of experts from the respective industry using the latest texts and educational delivery system to provide an effective, high-quality learning experience. View our current professional certificates.

Customized Training:

The School of Professional and Continuing Studies at Thomas Edison State College can also develop customized solutions that meet the education and training needs of the U.S. military through the following:

• Needs Assessment:  Through a comprehensive needs assessment, we can help you determine if your current training is aligned with top-level goals.
  
• Educational Planning: Based on the needs assessment, we will work with you to create a strategic educational plan.
  
• Development and Delivery of Customized Training: Using the College’s extensive resources, we can develop a new program or course, or customize an existing program to improve on-the-job performance and productivity. These programs can be delivered in a classroom format, an online format, or a blended format combining both classroom and online experiences.
