Step 1:  

Click here to access the practicum packet. This packet is to be used for Practicum’s beginning in January 2010. The letter of intent to request the practicum is due two terms in advance of the practicum start. Letters of intent for the April 2010 term are due October 1, 2009.

Step 2: 

In addition, all graduate students are required to complete a background check prior to their first scheduled practicum.  Failure to submit a background check by the requested due date may cause you to be ineligible for the practicum.  The background check report will be completed by Verified Credentials, Inc. You will be required to provide identifying information as well as a payment source.  You will be directed through the website and results will be returned to you as well as the Thomas Edison State College School of Nursing. Since this is a crucial component of your clinical rotation, you should access the web site and complete the request for background check according to the practicum packet checklist.  To start your background check, click the link below.
