“The most difficult hurdle in the Army is the constant adjusting and adapting to new situations and circumstances,” said Petrevich, who was deployed to Iraq and bases throughout the United States while he pursued his Bachelor of Science in Human Services degree.
Like most military students at Thomas Edison State College, Petrevich took advantage of the flexible course delivery options, such as transfer credits, online courses, Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) and examination programs such as TECEP®.
“Due to my position in the Army, I needed to obtain my degree on a timeline and TECEP® allowed me to make that timeline,” said Petrevich. “It’s a great program that is flexible enough to accommodate a soldier during wartime.”
