The Education Policy and Practice Initiative

This Education Policy and Practice Initiative provides policy briefings and expert testimony on education policy and policy as it affects New Jersey’s urban municipalities while utilizing evidence of practice, inquiry, and research to promote innovation, transform performance, and sustain improvement in schools and in New Jersey’s urban centers.
 
Programs and Projects:

• Annual conference of New Jersey’s urban mayors, superintendents and school board presidents

• Partnerships with Trenton Public Schools: Leadership for Education Achievement in Districts; Mitigating the Academic Achievement Needs of African-American Boys Initiative; and the Next Generation of Educational Leadership Program
