Registration Form.The National Institute on the Assessment of Experiential Learning provides an intensive learning experience for professionals in education who have recently become involved in Prior Learning Assessment (PLA), or who are considering such involvement, or who have been working in the field for many years. The main goals of the National Institute are to address issues of interest to novices and experienced professionals alike, such as the development and growth of a PLA program, student advising, faculty development, research, quality assurance, and current issues and trends. The National Institute also serves as a venue to share experiences in a casual environment and to network with colleagues. The National Institute is sponsored annually by Thomas Edison State College, in cooperation with the
Council for Adult and Experiential Learning.

In 2008, the National Institute on the Assessment of Experiential Learning will celebrate its 20th anniversary. To celebrate the National Institute's 20th anniversary, a Forum on the Assessment of Adult Learning at a Distance will precede the National Institute on June 18th. The Forum will focus on practitioner experiences and case studies.
