Course Exams and Proctors

Finding a proctor
You can take exams for Thomas Edison State College at Army Education Testing Center, accredited college or university or at any public library that offers the service. eArmyU students should contact their base education office to find out who the DANTES approved Test Control Officer (TCO) is. If Active duty military students are unable to get to a DANTES approved test site they may use their education services officer (ESO) or a commanding officer.

Thomas Edison State College does not send exams to employers, corporate training offices members of the clergy family members or friends.

The College reserves the right to require modification of your proposed proctoring arrangements.

Once your proctor is approved, your exam will be mailed from Thomas Edison State College two weeks before the official test week of the course. Call your proctor the week before the official test week to confirm delivery of the test and to confirm the specific test date.

Students need to submit their official Proctor Request Form to the Office of Test Administration by the end of the first week of the semester. The final exam will be mailed to your confirmed test site two weeks before the official final test week. It must be completed on or before the last day of the semester.
