| The major area of study in Finance is designed for students who are either employed in or plan to be employed in banking or other financial institutions, stock brokerage firms, in the financial services industry and in the financial division of major organizations. Finance is broadly defined to include financial markets and institutions, investments and the financial management of organizations. Note 1: This list of subjects is offered as a guide.
