IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT ALL BSBA STUDENTS, REGARDLESS OF AREA OF STUDY, INCLUDE A BUSINESS ETHICS SUBJECT AS PART OF THE GENERAL EDUCATION OR FREE ELECTIVES COMPONENT OF THEIR DEGREE. STUDENTS DESIRING TO BECOME CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS (CPAs) WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE 150 SEMESTER HOURS TO SIT FOR THE CPA EXAM IN NEW JERSEY AND MANY OTHER STATES. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR STATE BOARD OF ACCOUNTANCY FOR SPECIFIC DETAILS CONCERNING THIS CHANGE.
