ASAST in Biomedical Electronics

Have you earned a professional license or certification, or acquired college-level technical expertise on the job? If so, it may be worth college credit. The College also offers a variety of other ways to earn credit, including transferring previous college credits, all designed around the needs of adult learners, like you.




The Associate in Science in Applied Science and Technology (ASAST) degree program in Biomedical Electronics is designed for technicians who design and maintain hospital and other health-oriented electronics equipment. Courses include general as well as biomedical electronics. Required courses are DC Circuits, AC Circuits, Electronic Devices, Digital Electronics, Biomedical Equipment. Corollary Requirements include Precalculus Algebra I and II, Physics I and II, Anatomy and Physiology, and Computer Programming. The degree is a 60-credit program.
