ASAST in Electrical Technology

Have you earned a professional license or certification, or acquired college-level technical expertise on the job? If so, it may be worth college credit. The College also offers a variety of other ways to earn credit, including transferring previous college credits, all designed around the needs of adult learners, like you.




The Associate in Science in Applied Science and Technology (ASAST) degree in Electrical Technology is designed for electricians and electrical power or machinery workers. Courses in general electronics as well as electrical fields are included. Required courses include DC Circuits, AC Circuits, Digital Circuits, Electronic Devices, AC and DC Machines and Industrial Motor Controls. Corollary requirements are Precalculus I and II, Physics I and II, and Computer Concepts. The degree is a 60-credit program.
