ASPSS in Administration of Justice

Transfer Your Credit
Have you attended college before? If so, you may be able to transfer credits earned at other regionally accredited colleges or universities. The College also offers a variety of other ways to earn credit - all designed around the needs of adult learners, like you.

The Associate in Science in Public and Social Services (ASPSS) degree in Administration of Justice is designed for police officers, probation officers, corrections officers and private or government security personnel and law enforcement officials. Required courses include Introduction to Human Services or an introductory course to the field of justice administration. Nine (9) credits in basic theory and three (3) credits of the Practicum also are required. Students usually have a significant number of credits completed in administration of justice upon enrollment. Remaining credits are typically completed through a combination of Thomas Edison State College’s Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) courses, examinations and other courses. Students must work in the United States or be a U.S. citizen working on a U.S. military base overseas. This is a 60-credit degree program.
