Negrón Endowed Scholarship


The Julia Cadiz Negrón Endowed Scholarship

The Julia Cadiz Negrón Scholarship was established to support Latino students at Thomas Edison State College. Awarded annually, the scholarship is established for Latino students in honor of Julia Cadiz Negrón, who instilled the value of education in her children, inspiring them to achieve their highest possible potential.

Additional criteria for this scholarship are:

• Applicants must be new or continuing students pursuing a minimum of 6 credits in an undergraduate degree program at Thomas Edison State College.
• Funds received must be applied to textbooks, fees or tuition toward any credit-earning option offered at Thomas Edison State College.
• Application deadline is September 30; the scholarship is awarded November 1.
